The Leadville 100 lottery is open for 2021, and hopefully, the August 14 race will be able to go off without a hitch this year. Athletes can register for the lottery as an individual or group, with a max of four people per group. Group members will register individually but must use the same group name, spelled correctly to a T.
The Leadville 100 uses a lottery system every year because of high demand for the race. The lottery is open from February 1 until February 15 at midnight. Lottery winners will be selected for the race on February 23.
For those who are unsuccessful in the lottery, the Leadville 100 still has qualifying events. The Austin Rattler, the Silver Rush 50, and others can all be used to qualify for Leadville.
