This "trail" really doesn't fit nicely into one of the above categories as it is not smooth, but it is not intermediate as far as skill level. It is really more of a hiking area which traverses a Quartz mountain with a majority of the area covered with loose rock and Quartz/DG outcroppings. I definitely wouldn't spend any time here if you aren't tubeless. The "technical" ratings mentioned in other reviews must be calling navigating these rock gardens or climbing some hike-a-bike sections as technical, because otherwise there really isn't much here that would qualify as a traditional technical rating for Mtn Biking.
Anyway, I will say that the local hiking population, which there are a TON of hikers, are extremely friendly and really seem to enjoy the area. Outside of this, a trip over to South Mountain will provide some better technical riding with some decent flow sections.
