Trail Description
About this trail
Single track is in southwest corner of park. Getting to the single track requires a short ride on multiuse trails or roads. Riders looking for a longer route or a scenic ride in he park can start from various areas and distances from the single track. There are (3) single track loops, easy, intermediate, and hard. Intermediate and hard are both offshoots from the easy trail. As of July 2010 the hard was under construction. The trails ride pretty fast and intermediate has some additional technical sections. When adding multiuse to your single track ride it creates some variety and difficulty, especially with the high point in the Windfeldt trail system.

Review: Our family of four (parents and two kids) did the green trail and loved it. One thing I really liked was how well marked the trails are. Fun turns, a little gradient, a few roots and rocks but not much. It probably wasn't challenging enough for my 9 and 11 year olds and husband, but I thought it was a fun, fast ride.

Review: Flowy and fast. Technical features are few and far between, and all either have ride-arounds or can be easily rolled over. Very fun, easy trail to ride! Those looking for technical challenges will not be satisfied here, any skill level can handle even the "Difficult" section by choosing the ride-arounds. Well-maintained. Great trail to break back into the riding season with, or for novice riders, or simply for those who want to relax with some flow trails! Cost as of this writing is $8.00 per vehicle to park, and $5.00 per person to ride the trail.

Review: Cycling @ 60 requires some consideration as to what trails to ride. The previous reviews promteded me to drive the hour plus to check out Hartman. I could not have made a better choice for the day. Plenty of smooth yet snakey, along with plenty of downhills with a little grade. I did all three levels, green, blue, and black. The black is rated as the most technical only due to the man made obstacles. The roller Coaster I tried but then bypassed it. It does take you about 4 feet off the ground and unless you know the technique you could take pretty tall spill. The Teter Totor I just bypassed and did not try. Other than that a couple log obstacles, very small rock garden, not much more. The ST just north of Green Bay has loads more stumps, rut, potholes, and digs. I would highly recommend this trail for someone who wants just plain fun with a great cardio workout. Plenty of elevation to get it.

Review: Pleasantly surprised with the quality of this trail system. No gut busters or brake burners but the layout will keep you moving at a pretty decent pace. Something about the woods and the terrain make you feel like you're in a more remote setting than you really are.

Review: This was a great ride. The green trail was nice and fast. The black trail had tons of man made obstacles to test your skills.

Review: This was my first mountain biking trail I thought it was very fun and exciting. All three trials (easy, intermediate, and hard) were pretty fun I liked the hard trial the best; it has obstacles like a teeter-totter, log ramps, sand spots, etc.

Review: Fun, easy, flowing trails. There isn't really anything technical here other than navigating turns at the higher speeds you can achieve due to the smooth trail. The trails are marked easy, intermediate, and expert, though the basic trail is the same on all 3. The more difficult ones just have obsticles you can choose to ride including a teetor-tator that is only for ONE rider at a time - we had a near accident here, missing the signage. Riding the entire trail makes for a decent ride and 2 loops is a nice long ride. It's enjoyable for all levels.

Review: Great trail system. Beginner, intermediate and advanced trails. Some fun "jungle gyms" for bikes on the advanced portion of the trail.

Similar Trail: Kind of unique.

Review: Great trail. The dragon trail is extremely fun and the teeter totter (not sure if that's what's called) was a great addition. Good amount of elevation and speed variety. Never felt bored but never felt out of control. Very fun trail. It was my first single track ride and I have been back plenty of times. I would recommend it highly.
