Definitely worth the money. I LOVE this bike. It has definitely stepped up my comfort and speed having this bike.

    Pros
    Great suspension travel and response.

    Cons
Brakes could be a little better.

This is a great bike once I did the following; Maxxis Ardent EXO TR 29X2.4 tires front and rear, new grips, new seat, 28T direct drive front chain ring, crank protectors and a durable set of wheels.

    Pros
Very plush, climbs extremely well for 160mm travel, 30mm inside diameter wheels make for large volume tires, very little pedal bob with shock open, fork and shock are a great combination, light for its ability and just wants to go fast.

    Cons
30T front chain ring a bit tall for me, grips are horrible, seat is just ok, Butcher front tire is ok but weak side walls, Slaughter rear tire is even thinner side walls, difficult to set up Cane Creek InLine shock but awesome once set! Bottom Bracket was not installed well. The wheels will not last if ridden hard especially for a heavier rider. When you break the rear wheel and need to replace it, you will probably not find the specked 142 wheel in something more durable. Putting a 135 hub spec with 142x12 adaptors on it will through the chain line off by 2mm causing the chain to unwrap off the granny gear pedaling backwards on occasion.

Nice, plush, slack, 6" decender. Shrink the fork and she climbs extremely well still. Does everything well, like the "swiss army knife" of mountain bikes

    Pros
Climbs pretty well for a 6" bike

    Cons
    None so far

I have been riding on this bike for close to 4 months, step up from a rockhopper. I love this bike. Drop the front suspension down for climbing and open it up for the downhill. This bike definately climbs well and descends better. I would ditch the tires first chance and the grips wear quick. I'm gonna send in the break lever for warranty over the winter. Overall I love this bike and have really nothing bad to say about it.

    Pros
Suspension, Sram components, avid elixor brackes.

    Cons
Tires have thin sidewalls. Issue with pressure in rear break, I think its a warranty item. I have to pump the brake to get pressure sometimes.

Decent riding bike. The newest version fixes the problem with the front shock. Good bike which is good choice for a do all bike

    Pros
Lightweight and good performing. Shifting worked great. Rear suspension worked great

    Cons
The model i tested had the Futureshock 150 triple clamp. Not a good shock. Generated play early

Great bike rides well just it has some small issues with tight turns and the fork as well has teething problems that i am sure Specialized will iron out.

    Pros
This bike rides great climbs well and is light for the amount of travel.

    Cons
The E150 front fork has issues.
    1. it clunks...The DU bushings are too big and the fork has play.
    2. The travel control knob failed.

While I have changed the tires(small bock 8's) and I went with the e13 DRS(22/36) the bike is stock and can take a beating. I did blow a fork seal the first week but the shop had the bike back to me in a week. I am not the type to spend 4k on my ride but and testing this one it was a must have. If your a single track weight weiney stay away but if you like the down alittle more than the up and you are rough on your ride this was made for you.

    Pros
With the adjustable front travel it climbs like a goat and with 6" of plush rear travel it flows like water on decents. The component package is almost the same as the 7k super version. This is the best bike I have ever owned in since I started in 95'

    Cons
fork clearance, especially when its muddy, why did specialized go with a weird thru axle size(25mm) would like to see an after market single crown front fork(marzocchi 55 eta)

If you want a 6" travel bike that can climb really well then get this bike. It's a specialized - you can't go wrong.

    Pros
it climbs well and decends awesome! i love it! it's a great all round bike if you love the downhills but also like to earn your turns on the uphills. It's lighter than most regular trails bikes!

    Cons
    hmmm. nothing yet...
