I have Singletracks contributor Jared13 to thank for this one.  He had scouted out this little-known, remote route and entered it into the Singletracks trail database with a 5 star review.  Having ridden with Jared, I knew I could trust his assessment and made sure to hit Muskrat Creek on my annual visit to Montana.  This is quintessential Montana singletrack.  It is remote and rugged with few concessions made for a wheeled traveler, but nevertheless tons of fun and a true example of the spirit of mountain biking as it used to be.
