Your thighs shouldn’t be hurting after 5minutes, that’s for sure. But, it may not be the saddle that’s causing it either.

okay, I was exaggerating about how quickly my legs got sore, but I went on a 40- mile ride a while ago and that got to be very uncomfortable at times. My riding posture probably has something to do with it, but the seat I have came with the bike is broken in and it’s not much more comfortable than when I first got the bike.

I don’t think so. I don’t see any bolt holes where I could mount a brake rotor

I got my hands on the schematics for some of the different acera models and it seems that it uses a RMD- M330 model with a 7- speed adapter. It looks like that what actually may have broken was the adapter, so I may see about just upgrading the whole drivetrain so it won’t be so hard to find new parts. The derailleur i have now isn’t even listed on their main products page anymore, so I think I’ll look into getting a 9 speed instead. Are there any particular 9- speeds to look out for? What I’m mostly looking for is climbing power, although I still do want a few "fast" gears

    It’s directly attached

any recommendations for replacements? It’s a 21 speed (3 gears up front, 7 in back)

ski masks work too, although they can get kind of gross if you get one made from acrylic like I did

If you have any paved trails that connect to the trail you’re looking for, ride that trail on the way. I’ve been doing that when I go out for a ride and it makes for a great warmup
