Bike the Brutal Loop during the SORBA Epic Weekend at Mulberry Gap [Cancelled]

If you've never ridden the epic Brutal Loop near Ellijay, Georgia, this is your chance!

Update: The SORBA Epic weekend at Mulberry Gap has been cancelled. We’ll update here if a new date is scheduled.

If you’ve never ridden the epic Brutal Loop near Ellijay, Georgia, this is your chance! Mulberry Gap is hosting an epic weekend of mountain biking to benefit Mountain Bike Atlanta, the North Georgia Mountain Bike Association, and the Gilmer Cartecay Youth Mountain Bike Team.

Singletracks will help lead the Brutal Loop on Saturday, March 28, 2020 as part of the SORBA Epic Weekend. This 32-mile route packs in 4,700 feet of climbing (and descending). The descent down the Mountaintown Creek trail is the highlight of this ride, and is one of the most rugged and best-kept singletrack secrets in the state.

Your $45 registration benefits the North Georgia Mountain Bike Association and MTBATL along with the Gilmer Cartecay Youth Mountain Bike Team, plus registered riders get yummy lunch and beer. There is a not-so-brutal option to shuttle the mostly gravel road climb for an additional fee.

You can also make a weekend out of it by camping right at Mulberry Gap and riding the classic Bearhoti loop on Sunday, March 29.

See you there!
