Mountain Biking Super Fat Bike Loop

****   Add a review
#101 of 282 mountain bike trails in New Mexico
#6,300 in the world

Head east from the parkway on the Osage double track. Soon the single track peels off to the right. Follow the single track heading southeast. It eventually begins to head north after crossing Nambe Rd. This is sandy so it's fat bike specific. Anything else would not make it fun. Singletrack twists and turns through desert and juniper trees with views of the Sandia Mountains. This track is also occasionally used by motorcycles. Park at the Mariposa Community Center/The Point Grill and throw in the Parkway Fatbike Trail to get to the start. Video https://youtu.be/JTD1agpnsDg

Loose as caboose without a train. Fat bike territory for sure.

Mellow trail on a fat bike. All single track if you look for it. Very sandy. Fat bike territory all the way!! About a 10 mile loop.
