This is a great little up and back route. You'll climb just shy of 2,000 feet over 6.5 miles, but it seems like less. You'll know you've reached the top when the trail levels out in a clearing. If you want to do a loop, you can continue on. The trail will drop more steeply than going back the way you came. However, there will be a few miles of road back to where you started. If you turn around, you reap the reward of the fast, flowy downhill back to your car. It's best to do this at an off-peak time as this is a popular trail and you may not want to interrupt that very fun downhill by all the necessary yelds to uphill riders. If you want to get most There is lots of vegetation along the way and the trees throw lots of color in the fall.

  • No Drinking water

Meh... It's ok. Great climb, fast descent. It's just too busy/popular to put into my regular rotation of rides. Scenery is very nice.

Wow, what a fun trail with some nice views. If you are able, pick a day when most are working/in school. It gets crowded otherwise. Without a lot of traffic though, this is a really fun trail for the weekend warrior like me.

Super fun ride. The climb is not too strenuous but will keep your heart rate up. Switchbacks are nice and open, so easy to slide around. Watch out for traffic, lots of hikers and some not so friendly to bikers. The downhill is a blast!

Pretty sweet ride. Wide bermed trail. Nothing too stiff to climb, but incredible downhills. Much of the trail is well shaded so you can ride it any time of the day. Highly recommend, and even beginners can do this ride.

The exit listed in the directions is wrong, (it should be 315) but after I got over that, I had a great ride. Parking in the little lot before the guard shack is the best option. The climb isn't really steep but is plenty long (maybe it was my hangover from the Rapture Party) but it is definitely worth it for that downhill ride. You can see that it's a popular place so like others have said, plan accordingly.

Hard trail for starters. Friend from work recommended it to me as a beginner trial. The switchbacks at the beginning kicked my butt. I love the fact that its shaded and mostly covered so I stayed fairly cool on my ride. When I am in better shape and more prepared, I love to tackle this trail again.

Fun trail. My favorite thing about this trail is the fact that it is shaded on so much of the ride. Its gorgeous. The only thing I don't about it is the amount of small branches/saplings hanging over the trail. Wear long fingered gloves if you have them.

One of the best downhills I have found so far in Utah. The climb doesnt seem as bad as it sounds
