Trail Description
About this trail
Trail is relatively flat. A few small climbs and fun little up and downs but overall little elevation change. Trail is very well marked and broken in from high mountainbiking trafic. the trail is riddled with small rocks (up to 12 inches in width/length). The trail tends to be very busy during the weekend. I usually like to catch it early in the morning during the week. The trail is approximately 9 miles out and 9 miles back Good cardio workout.

Review: Great workout trail. It has a little bit of everything. Some good flow sections on the way back to the ramada.

Review: A mix of beginner trail, but some serious downhill and climbs dealing with rock making it intermediate. A fun trail from start to finish.

Review: A great trail for XC, and a good choice when the other trails on SoMo are covered in hikers. Not very technical, but fun nonetheless.

Review: Did not like desert classic, it was very boring. I only did this trail because my riding patprtner could not do national so we rode desert classic. Update: I went and rode the whole thing with my other friend, so much fun. It's in my top 5 favorite trails. I did the whole loop make sure your legs are fresh and you have water

Review: I was introduced to this trail by a friend and I enjoyed the trail so much that I plan on returning and doing the full 9 miles. I had to cut my ride short to make other family activities. I highly recommend this trail if your riding alone or with friends.

Review: This is a good beginner trail. Its wide, pretty flat and aside from a few of the washes not very technical.

Review: Very nice ride for a warm up. Really no climbs but a few rolling hills to get the blood pumping. There are some sneaky pockets of sand that can grab a front wheel of you're not careful. Lots of trail to ride.
