Event description
Over 2 months after the Summer Solstice comes Chico's 2nd 24 hour of the year, Hot August Nights. Generally 3/4 the size of the Solstice, Hot August enthusiasts love the event for the more relaxed atmosphere. With an entire summer between the events, many riders enjoy riding in both events as they differ in vibe and courses, but not in amenities. The nights get a little longer and the legs a little stronger, making for a memorable race that caps off another great summer.
Our focus is to increase the amount of singletrack, and really differentiate the course from that of the Solstice. Fun is the main idea for this 24 hour course!
