The three part race will start with an uphill sprint of about 2 miles, followed by a pretty intense 2 mile downhill and ending with 2 laps on a x-country course. There are no breaks between disciplines. Total mileage for this event will be around 18 miles. There is a 1 lap category for those of you
that don't want to do 18 miles. It's going to be tough either way.
Walnut mtn has some pretty steep ascents/descents with a elevation change of about 600'.
