Calling all bicyclist! The 4th Annual D-Day Mountain Bike Expo is occurring on Sunday June 27, 2010 at Lynn Woods Reservation Lynn, Massachusetts. This event will provide interesting opportunities for mountain bike junkies and curious non-mountain bikers to see and try a broad range of the latest products, technologies and services in this fast changing sport.
Sponsors will be on hand to discuss their gear, answer questions and provide expert industry advice and ideas on how to enhance your skills, update your equipment and revitalize your passion for your sport. Compete in contests for prizes, participate in group rides and watch professional demonstrations throughout the day.
“Our goal is to expose event attendees to everything that is mountain biking in a fun and friendly outdoor atmosphere while we generate funds to support trail maintenance programs in Lynn Woods” said Frank DiBenedetto event coordinator. “The D-Day Expo is in its forth year and we are happy to see a positive growth each year.”
Among the vendors, group rides and contests, 8x National Trials Champion, Mike Steidley will be in attendance performing the Kenda/Steidley Mountain Bike Stunt Show presented by Haro Bikes. “This is the second year Mike will attend our event and we can not wait to see the new bag of tricks he will perform!"
This is an all day event that provides direct contact with a host if local and regional industry representatives. There is no pre-registration for this event and it is open to the public. Dieselbikes is a "Grassroots" New England Mountain Bike Club based out of Lynn Massachusetts whose goal is to support and expand the sport of mountain biking. They are involved with trail building/maintenance programs; produce amateur mountain bike movies, host mountain bike events and work with other local bike advocacy groups yearly.
