Who's attending
Event description
The LAST trail workday for 2011 will be on Saturday, Nov. 5. This will be a collaborative effort between CTHA and SORBA/IMBA. CTHA has been very committed to Jake & Bull trail system and we'll be working side by side. A VERY good thing!!! Come join us and return some love to the trails that you enjoy so much. I guarantee you'll have fun while you work.
Here are the details.
When: Arrive 9:00 , Start - 9:30 a.m. , Saturday 11/5, Lunch - 1:00 at Jake Mtn camping area (chili & cornbread anyone?)
Where: Jake Mountain camping area (one of the campsites - TBD - follow the "CTHA Event ->" signs)
Who: anyone wanting to give back to the trails (all ages and abilities are welcome!)
What: we will work the Moss Creek trail and possibly others - depending on the # of people participating.
Contact: Post here or email eddie@55nine.com
Things to bring with you: boots, long pants, gloves, protective gear is required so bring your riding helmet (or we'll have hard hats), epi-pen if allergic to bees (this is VERY important), something to carry drinking water with/in and your own shovel if you want.
Things that will be provided: tools, water, lunch to those who RSVP, something for everyone to do! and guidance on how to do it (no experience necessary!).
Please - it's very important that you RSVP by Wednesday 11/2. Not only does it provide us with a lunch count, but we can also better plan the day's projects ahead of time and contact you if the weather forces a change of plans. Please RSVP by sending an e-mail to me at eddie@55nine.com. CTHA will provide lunch to all who RSVP (registered volunteers will receive a ticket to turn in for your lunch).
