Specialized
Very nice, keep them coming guys!
I was lazy this morning, sorry, the more proper name would be Specialized P1 Dirt jumper
http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/9383199/love a good rocky mountain, love a good DH/DJ rider, dam, good combo!
Well guys, got a S-works P1!!!!! Love it, super fun on pump tracks, and the big stuff now seems small, thanks for the help,
WWJ(wildwestjake)DUDE! slow down, i just found a brand new Specialized P1, chromly frame, super short chain stays, and sweet components, it’s a 2011, I believe, and it’s also my first DJ! I love it. if the price is right, go for the wingman, I know a guy who rode one, and he loved it, I was actually considering getting one, but changed my mind, because I got a good deal on the s-works bike. I saw that they were going for $500! Here’s a review on the wing man:http://jerryhazard.us/flight-crew-reviews/the-airborne-wingman-experience/
Got a dirt jumper instead, specialized P1 full rigid, after having my DH buddy tune my suspension, it rocks, but thanks for your time, i’ll get a boxxer some day………
very similar. Except for the new components on the toxin 😆
I have a marzo RV that came on my Airborne Taka and it is fine for the dirt jumping I do, but it tops out, and the amount of adjustment is WAY to small, that’s why want a new DH fork, I considered the single crown idea, but I like the amount of travel dual crowns give.
Well, a majority of my DH is tech, and the boxxer is good for dirt jumping?
Next question, I use the bike for dirt jumping, drops, AND light-medium DH, which fork would handle this the best?
That’s a S-works bike, gwin rides for trek
I know, I was just considering it as a hardtail…..
"slipfinger" wrote[quote="wildwestjake":1h6la2yg]I have around $800 and want a full Sus DJ or Slope Style bike, only problem is, I CAN’T FIND ONE!
If you are looking for a complete bike, I hate to be the one to crush your dreams but YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIND ONE!
Used, you’d be the luckiest person alive if you found a Soda frame itself for $800.00.
If you are looking for a higher end bike other then your classic Craigslist, and the odd forum that has a buy and sell, pinkbike is your only choose. I buy and sell on there all the time and have not had a single issue to date.
Know what you want and when you find it ask a lot of questions and wheel and deal with them. Ask them to take more pictures if you are not happy with pictures they have posted. If they don’t want to go out of there way to sell there bike then move on to another bike[/quote:1h6la2yg]
Thanks, i found a soda frame for 1300, but I don’t want to build up a bike, What about the 2013 Rocky Mountain flow DJ? found one here for $800: http://www.jensonusa.com/Dirt-Jumper-Bi … -Bike-2013Weird Geometry on that toxin, hole lota space between the rear shock and the end of the top tube, makes it look more tall and awkward……
How much does a Soda Slope from them run? If you know.
