MTBparks.com has just released the results of their readers’ choice survey, which categorizes the best downhill bike parks in North America, region by region. With the downward trend in winter snowfalls ski resorts and riders are turning more and more to downhill riding for revenue and gravity release. While this is unfortunate for snow sports enthusiasts, the rewards for downhill diehards are huge!
Check out the infographic below, and MTBparks’ list of the top bike park in each region!
- Eastern Canada: Sugarloaf, New Brunswick
- Northeast U.S.: Highland, New Hampshire
- Mid-Atlantic/Southeast U.S.: Mountain Creek, New Jersey
- Midwest U.S.: The Rock, Wisconsin
- Rocky Mountain U.S.: Trestle, Colorado
- Southwest U.S.: Angle Fire, New Mexico
- Northwest U.S.: Silver Mountain, Idaho

I’ve ridden about half a dozen bike parks and honestly I would have a hard time ranking them myself so it’s cool to see this crowdsourced list.
I’ve ridden about as many bike parks as Jeff, but I haven’t ridden any of the top 8 on this list. I guess I need to tune up that DH bike and get to work this summer!
Yeah, I’ve only ridden 1 of their 8 regional winners… but the top 3 out of 5 in the rockies. 🙂
