In this episode of the Singletracks podcast, Aaron and I talk about some of the science behind sports drinks and hydration for mountain biking. Since we’re neither doctors nor experts on hydration, we talk about the history of electrolyte-based sports drinks and give an overview of some of the research that’s out there on the subject. We also talk about our own, non-scientific sports drink taste test results.
