Very dense woods and very, very humid. They did a good job packing as much mileage as possible into limited space, but that means the trail doubles back on itself so much it makes you dizzy. Layout seemed pretty random as to use of terrain, especially when contouring vs. dropping in and out of drainages. Some bits are fun and some just seem disruptive. It's definitely a nice amenity for the Tupelo area, and the rest of the state park is quite nice as well.
