Head up Bernal Rd
When the road starts to turn right you'll see some small boulders on the left which is where the trail begins. Careful crossing the street, it's hard to see the cars coming down the road.
Once on the trail you'll want to stay to the right at the wye just after the super short climb. You'll get to a section that's paved (old Bernal I believe) stay to the right.
Once you're done what I consider a short brutal climb you'll want to turn left at the top, this will be hidden springs trail. Continue on Hidden Springs until you see the parking lot which will be after a short downhill section.
At this point the parking lot will be on your right.
Stay to the very left and you will see that Hidden Springs continues.
Hidden Springs Turns into Coyote Peak Trail at the second trail junction.
Continue up Coyote Peak Trail until you get to a three way. You'll be turning right here to continue on Coyote Peak Trail. You can go left up to the park bench and enjoy the view as well.
Once you're heading down Coyote Peak Trail you'll have two easy climbs. At the end of the second climb is where Rocky Ridge starts on your right.
Head down Rocky Ridge
It starts out easy and progressively gets worse then eases up again.
Rocky Ridge turns into Mine Trail for a very short time and then turns into Connector Trail but you really just need to continue going straight to stay on course
Stay left onto Pueblo Trail, it'll be a natural left and the road at this point should be on your right.
At the top of this will be a small lot on your right, you'll see the trail (Stiles Ranch) continue to the left down the hill (fast but blind).
The downhill section can be very fast, don't miss the trail on you're right. You'll have a second chance to turn right if you missed the first one. You'll know you missed both if you start climbing.
Continue on Stiles Ranch until you see civilization. You'll make a left at the bottom of civilization to continue on Fortini Trail.
Fortini Trail turns into Mine Trail (it'll be a soft left), you'll then want to stay right (through the gate) to stay on Mine Trail (going straight here will get you Stiles Ranch round 2 :)
You'll pass by some restrooms and water fountain on your left.
You should now be back on Hidden Springs Trail which will take you to Ohlone Trail.
Stay right on Ohlone Trail and the rest should look familiar.

Getting there
85 and Bernal
Head west on Bernal until you get to the stop sign at Heaton Moor Dr. You can park somewhere around there. There's usually cars with bike racks parked in that area when I ride by.
