Trail Description
About this trail
this trail is great if you can do shuttle runs. real tight twisty singletrack with a few small jumps. lots of tree roots to manage, a few rock gardens, some off camber sections and then there is a pretty good sized hip to hit in the middle. there is only one real small climb in the middle (takes about a minute if u hammer up it) then you get to an open space where there is a big open lookout area with a view of the whole S.F. bay. going down from this spot is real fun, switchback section with pretty big berms that u can really rail through.

check your speed as there is some blind corners and this is a shared trail with hikers. the hiker hippies here get fiesty sometimes

Review: Super fun and pretty easy. A few solid ascents to get the blood flowing, but then it was all worth it for Cinderella!

Review: Great trail fun down hill and not that much up hill depending on what you do. The cinderella trail is quite fun to fly down. The cinderella trail does have parts where its just jagged rocks so watch out for those. Have fun be safe and just send it.

Similar Trail: The one over the hill and through the woods.????

Review: My experience her is limited to just three self guided solo rides on different trips. The place is small, so making loops is the way to go. On the weekend its packed, but when you get there you will see why; it is stunningly beautiful. The Big Trees trail is so fast and flowy, compared to anything else in the East Bay area, it's the best. SHADE a major factor that much of the east bay is missing. Great dirt too! I have heard that the hikers can be rude but I myself haven't had that experience here as of this review. I DID however have my car window smashed on my last trip there. I parked along the road near the top of Big Trees and someone smashed both my passenger side window and the back window of the car next mine. * neither of us had anything stolen though so there is that... I have to say though that the ride was so much fun that I would go back as soon as my window was replaced if I had the time... It really is that good compared to the steep cattle damaged fire roads the rest of the east bay has to offer, its gold. GO ON A WEEKDAY IF YOU CAN!

Review: The cinderella trial is the best trial in california. My friends and I had so much fun last week. It is my favorite trial ever. And I rode it on a Wal-Mart bike.

Review: My favorite trail here is Palos Colorados. Most folks miss it because they zoom right past. It's behind/left of the main map and sign at the Sequoia Bayview Trail Trailhead entrance. I hope it's bike legal but it's easily the most challenging in the park, though short.

The whole park is a combination of segments. The swirl of trails that runs the length of Skyline is quite fun. Remember to go down the stairs near the burned down boyscout cabin.

Review: Cinderella and chaparral are the two best trails here. Chaparral has a fun rock garden with tons of railroad tie drops. Trails are short and over quick so you need to do many loops to get a full ride in.

Go in the late afternoon or mid morning to avoid hikers and dogs. Avoid on the weekends if possible.

Review: Cool downhill. Steep, twisting, winding, ups and downs. It is awesome among the redwoods, with sharp corners. It keeps you focused and ready to twist the wheel.
