Mountain Biking Jewell Pass Trail

*****   Add a review
#6 of 219 mountain bike trails in Alberta
#1,058 in the world

The Jewell Pass trail drops 2.7km from the junction with the Quaite Valley and Prairie View trails, down to Stoney Trail. This is an awesome descent with a few climbs mixed in, and has been largely reworked since the massive flooding of 2013.

A popular loop is to climb the Prairie View trail, finish the descent on Jewell Pass, and connect back over on the Stoney Trail.

Awesome long dh fun from start to finish. Just let go of the breaks and roll over the roots and rock gardens.

Jewell Pass is an uber-sweet singletrack trail that transitions from classic, rooty singletrack to recently revamped bench cut trails. With an interesting creek crossing, ripping descents, rollers to catch air off of, and great rock gardens, this trail entertains from start to finish!
