The G8 Loop connects to the Horseshoe Loop and offers the same loamy, rooty goodness, with some rockiness thrown in as well. The trail tread here is a little narrower due to lesser traffic, and there are some absolutely incredible views of the surrounding mountains! At the time of this writing, part of the loop is closed due to blasting at a nearby mine.
