Trail Description
About this trail
The single-track trail leaves the northern end of the parking area between the railroad track and cove. The trails roll and weave through hardwoods, cedars, and pines. The southern section of trails consists of several loops of 1 to 2 miles. The outermost northern loop has some steep berms.

There is a new 2.8 miles of steep trail on the south side of the park via a bridge constructed by Knox County. From the trail head it\'s about 1.5 miles to the new bridge. There are some technical switchbacks on the 5 climbs of this section (cumulative climb 800 feet).

These bike trails were developed by volunteers in cooperation with Knox County

Review: I'm new to mtb. This was pretty difficult for a new rider. Lots of tree roots and narrow trails on inclines and declines. I rode the easiest trails only, this time out. It was way more than I had expected. I live nearby so I definitely will be returning to figure it all out. I'm riding a hard tail and hard front. Maybe that is some of my problems.

Review: Fun little single track. There are a few little features on the black diamond trails that are fun. Drains well so you can ride after rain.

Review: We stopped by on our way trough Knoxville and was pleasantly suprises with this trail. I back up the reviews on this trail having all terrains. There are options for climbs or to avoid them. We did the majority of the trail system and recorded ~ 2400 ft of vertical climb. Great trail!

Review: Up Down Up Down Up Down. This ride is super fun and has some gnarly climbs and descents. Lots of fun rolling single track to go around the climbs and the lake. Definitely one of the best in Knoxville

Review: IC King is one of my favorites. I used to go 3-4 times per week during college, and now I go whenever I am in town. Quick, fast trails with lots of up and downhills on the backside. Two or three sections of the trails have some pretty amazing, but short, technical switchbacks, gnarly uphills, and downhills. An awesome after work or "quick trip" ride.

Review: IC King has turned out to be one of my favorite places to ride. I love the singletrack styling of the trails,;I just wish there were more trails! There are enough to keep you busy for a little while, but more trails would be awesome. There are some steep climbs and some great downhills with some technical switchbacks. Lots of fun to ride!
