Mountain Biking Bikepark Trippstadt

*****   Add a review
#10 of 150 mountain bike trails in Germany
#4,006 in the world

Very fast downhill course that consist of jumps, big air jumps, big air drops, and walls to ride on. At the bottom of the bike part trail there are about 15 miles of double track trails that go through the woods.

This bikepark is NOT a beginner park by any means at all except for the pump track. Every single line is either red or black. The easiest line has the biggest wall ride of all. Who ever gave this trail a green should not be allowed to rate tails anymore.

Rider questions

Q: What is required
A: Helmet is the only thing required. Everything else is optional but they have a case of gear that you can sign out. It is really cool cause one of the rules is you can not make fun of other people's gear.

Great bikepark for the local ktown area. All of the lines take about one minute to go down and only 3 minutes to walk back up so you can do plenty of laps in one day. However, this bikepark is only ment for more advanced riders and no novice riders should go there. If you do go there, go with somebody that you can trust, not just somebody that says for you to send er and hit the wall ride.

Staff is nice and speak a few different languages. Make sure you read the rules before your ride. Most of the rules are common sense but they do have a rule that states you can not make fun of anyone's bike equipment. Ok, after riding this about 10 times I found out that I am more of a Cross Country guy. I had fun with a few of my fiends but I broke some much stuff on my bike it was not even funny. I love riding my bike but the more I am on the ground the happier I am. Hopping over stuff I am fine. When I am a few feet off of the air and I land and my real derailleur brakes I am out of my comfort zone. Riding on the walls was fun once I learned how to get on them. They have a section for kids and beginners to learn how to ride on hills and learn how to land jumps. This is definitely a family friendly environment. I had fun and the only reason they didn't receive a 5 is because bike parks are not my cup of tea.
