LocationFrom downtown Sturgeon Bay, this 46-mile, county-operated trail winds south along the beautiful Ahnapee and Kewaunee rivers to Algoma, Casco, Luxemburg and Kewaunee, passing by a mixture of evergreen glades, farmland, prairies and wooded areas teeming with wildlife and native wildflowers.

Getting there
Sturgeon Bay: The Sturgeon Bay trailhead and parking lot is just south of the city along Neenah Avenue. The trail continues north off the rail corridor along Neenah Avenue and other city streets, crossing State Highways 42/57, into the city of Sturgeon Bay.

    This is not the Ahnapee trail but a small trail totalling about 1.5 miles and mainly singletrack with small hills. More development has been happening in the past 2 years and much more to come in the near future. Also a good snow bike trail in the winter months.
