Review: This trail is located near the entrance and is approximately 3.5 miles in combined length. Turn left (East) on the first road after the guard shack. This will take you to the main road. Turn right (South). Then at the very next road turn left (East). About 1/8 of a mile on the left (North) you will see the parking area and the Trailhead. This trail consist of 1/2 prairie trail and 1/2 wooded trail. It almost looks as if they maintain it with a riding mower. The trail is close to 6' wide. There are a few runoff creek crossing that are fun and a little challenging. There are 20 bow & arrow targets along the whole first loop. There are three loops that join in the center. You will have to ride some parts twice to complete the whole trail. This trail is very kid friendly. Kansas is known for our hedge trees and there area lot of them on this trail. The thorns are big and a nasty problem. Be prepared to fix a flat tire. In the summer they aren't so bad but the fall and winter the trees shed the apples and thorns.
