I live in Utah, but this was my first time riding in the Moab area. This turned out to be a great place to do it. They've apparently made a bunch of new trails recently, as the original trail summary I read only included the 3 loops in the eastern half. I did a 12 mile loop around most of the perimeter. In the beginning, I was a bit leary of the slickrock and walked in a couple spots, but by the end my confidence level had improved enough that I was really enjoying myself. There are a few places where you do have to get off and walk due to deep sand. The trails are well marked, including maps with a smiley face showing where you are at each junction.
