After taking the summer off last year, the Stevens Pass Bike Park is set to reopen sometime in late June for the 2022 season. The Vail-owned resort’s new general manager Tom Fortune made the announcement on Facebook earlier this month.
“As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, the Stevens Pass Bike Park is back! We officially announced that the Bike Park’s return this summer, set to open in late June. The official opening date will depend on snowmelt and having all the trails and features ready to go. We are incredibly excited to welcome our guests back for this unique, special Stevens Pass experience.”
The popular Washington state bike park was closed last summer due to pandemic-related issues. In the announcement Fortune noted downhill bike rentals and lessons would be offered again this year as well.
The park will be open Thursdays through Sundays until October 2 with the Hogsback Express lift spinning riders to the top of the mountain.
