Fall has arrived in the northern hemisphere, with summer trail building projects wrapping up and opening to the public. Here are eight new mountain bike trail openings around the world that we tracked in September.
Blue Doon (Fort William, Scotland): This new gondola-served trail at Nevis Range Resort sits at 650m on Aonach Mor.
Brown Mill (Concord, North Carolina): The Tarheel Trailblazers officially opened four miles of singletrack on September 2.
Cacapon State Park (Berkeley Springs, West Virginia): New and newly rebuilt trails, and host to its first NICA race this fall.
Glencullen Adventure Park (Dublin, Ireland): Six new trails were added to the adventure park and opened on September 4.
Little Mountain Park (Mount Vernon, Washington): A mountain bike skills park has been on the master plan for the park since 2009, and finally, on September 12, it opened to the public.
Lone Lake (Minnetonka, Minnesota): Five miles of trails are designed for riders of all abilities, and are also suitable for winter fat biking.
Nesbitt Park (Lismore, New South Wales): A new mountain bike skills park opened at Nesbitt Park this month.
Silver Creek Bike Park (Berea, Kentucky): KYMBA officially opened three trails and a pump track at Silver Creek.
