The newest addition to the RaceFace NextR wheel line is made especially for wide tires.

The new Next R36 is made for 2.4″-2.8″ wide tires with the intent to maximize traction on the trail.

RaceFace says the wheels are built with a durable carbon layup to handle “enduro style abuse,” and an offset spoke hole design for improved spoke tension.

The rims also come with the RaceFace carbon confidence guarantee, which provides a two-year, no-fault warranty. RaceFace says that at their discretion, they’ll replace or repair any part of the wheel that fails, regardless of how it was damaged within the first two years of ownership.

The wheels are available in 27.5 or 29-inch diameters, with a 28-hole design, have a rim depth of 25mm,  and of course an internal rim width of 36mm. As a wheelset, the Next R36 comes with the RaceFace Vault hub, and the rim will ship installed with tubeless tape and valves.

MSRP: $1,499
