The bike that I bought has Sram AXS and I wanted to add a dropper post, and the integration with the Sram system and button customisability was great. The wireless aspect was also very appealing.
Thankfully there are good engineers who have decades worth of research behind them, so longevity and reliability are proving more than robust enough.
And having the seat post battery as a spare in the small chance that I run out of power on the derailleur is another bonus. It hasn't happened... yet!
