Ibis Ripmo AF Goes UDH, Completes Start at $2,999 [Gear Watch]

Ibis Ripley and Ripmo AF bikes get UDH update

Ibis recently updated the Ripley and Ripmo AF mountain bikes with UDH compatability. With the change riders can run the new SRAM Transmission wireless drivetrain or run any mechanical system using a Universal Derailleur Hanger. There are new colors as well, with complete bikes starting at $2,999.

Orange Bikes acquires frame building partner

Just weeks after seeking an administrator, things are looking up for Orange Bikes, according to Bike Biz. The online publication says Orange has acquired Bairstows Sheet Metal, located just a couple miles away from Orange HQ. The move is said to streamline operations and the hope is to put the brand on firm footing for 2024.

Ornot Mission Pants in new colors

Ornot just unfolded a couple new colors for their Mission riding pants: Mosswood and Curry, as seen above. The pants are designed and crafted in the US with eco-friendly materials. Available in waist sizes 28-38 and seven different colors.

New e*Thirteen wheels

The latest e*Thirteen carbon and alloy mountain bike rims and wheels “are stronger than ever, with increased compliance for durability and maneuverability,” according to the brand. Standout updates include the brand’s first asymmetric rim profile as seen on the Sylvan all-mountain wheels and e-specific optimized wheelsets.
