The worlds largest cycling magazine (Bicycling Magazine) has signed up as the Official Media Sponsor for the 2015 Dirty Kanza 200. The world’s premier ultra-endurance gravel road bike race held in the flint hills of Kansas starting and ending in Emporia KS. will be held on Saturday May 30th. Riders will encounter big hills, rough roads, high temperatures, and strong winds. They are excited to join forces with Bicycling Magazine to better serve the ultra-endurance community said race founder Jim Cummins. They are celebrating a `Decade of Dirty’ during their 10th race in 2015 and are honored to have Bicycling as part of that celebration. Bicycling publisher Zack Grice said "We’re eager to expose the Bicycling audience to this unique cycling experience and get cyclists acquainted to the Decade of Dirty". Registration for DK200opens Jan. 10th, 2015, and will be conducted online at Bikereg.com. Event organizers expect the 1,500 rider field limit to sell out quickly. I will post a reminder in January.
