8. Devinci Wilson – 25 Top Ten Finishes

Quebec-based Devinci seems to fly just under the radar, at least here in the US. You may assume they’re a small brand, but in actuality, Devinci makes a wide variety of bikes. Mountain bikes certainly appear to be their strong suit, but they also make road bikes and even a commuter ebike. Devinci still builds their aluminum bikes in Canada, although carbon production is done overseas.

Brief History

  • 2012
    • Aluminum front triangle and chainstays are mated to a carbon swingarm
    • 26″ wheels
  • 2013
    • Devinci releases the Wilson Carbon
    • The new bike gets a carbon front triangle to go with the carbon swingarm; the chainstays are still aluminum
    • 26″ wheels
  • 2014
    • Devinci Global Racing begins testing a 27.5″ version of the Wilson
    • Aluminum frame
    • At Eurobike, Devinci releases the 27.5″ Wilson as a 2015 model

    • Devinci Global Racing starts the season on a carbon version of the Wilson
