The North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS) is a yearly trade show that allows custom builders to showcase their craft. This year the show was held in Louisville, Kentucky, home of horse racing and bourbon.
As expected, the majority of bikes at the show are road or ‘cross, but there were still plenty of mountain bikes to be seen. And pretty much anyone showing a mountain bike was showing a fat bike.
Frames were constructed of all materials, and I mean all. Steel, aluminum, carbon fiber, bamboo, and wood were all represented… sometimes even a combination of materials. There were bikes with classic hardtail profiles and others with curvy, swervy tubes and crazy paint jobs.

Some really cool looking bikes here! I just realized that Reeb is Beer backward. 🙂
Fat Chance is back with a new Yo Eddie! Way cool. Looks great in a 29er. That Black Cat was also quite drool-worthy and the Alchemy looks wicked fast. I’d love to throw a leg over any of them.
