In case you’ve been completely disconnected like me, Floyd Landis took second place in the Leadville 100 mountain bike race in Colorado this weekend. He actually had a pretty good performance – just 1 minute, 43 seconds behind the winner, Dave Wiens – especially given his poor showing at the Teva Mountain Games a few months back.
Floyd had a strong finish despite a nasty crash just 1 hour into the almost 7 hour race. No word on whether there was a drug test after the race but the article says he did have a beer afterward 😉
