Action camera maker Contour is currently offering a deal on its Contour Roam 2 and 3 cameras where you can buy both together for just $249 ($375 CAD). The company is pitching this as a way to get multiple shots and better edits, and I’m definitely on board with the concept–POV footage alone is pretty boring to watch.

If you’re not familiar with the Contour line, the Roam 2 shoots at 1080p, features a rotating lens, and frickin’ lasers to help you line up your shot. The camera is waterproof (no case required) and has an simple slider switch to start and stop recording. Not only that, Contour includes an SD card in the package to get you started. Recording time is up to 3.5 hours on a single charge.

The Roam 3 has all the same features as the Roam 2 but adds a larger memory card (8gb) and a quick photo mode that lets you easily snap 5 megapixel stills. Both cameras utilize a 170° wide angle lens.

Check out Corey’s review of the original Roam to learn more about the line. While many of the specs have changed, the form factor and several key features (like laser alignment and the rotating lens) are still in place.

To get this deal you have to add each camera separately to your cart at Contour.com. Purchased individually, the Roam 2 retails for $99 while the Roam 3 sells for $199. No word on how long this offer will be available.
