Mountain Biking Wolf Branch / 666

****   Add a review
#131 of 544 mountain bike trails in North Carolina
#2,504 in the world

This is either a stiff climb in one direction, or a rocking descent in the other. This climb can be used to access the top of the ridge and the rest of the trail system, making for a good loop. But if you choose to descend it, there are plenty of awesome berms and wallrides, rocks and jumps. Hang on and watch for uphill traffic!

Was pretty fun, the bottom part where the trees form like a tunnel watch for the roots. Almost got me today. 2nd favorite trail in the park. Ingle field gap is my favorite & you can double them up for around a 3 mile decent from the observation point that I can't really see anything from.

One of the more challenging trails I've rode. It's a good ride and a good trail.

Great ride but some what sketchy... Very rocky and I saw a bear on this trail today... Be careful, be sure to not be alone, and have fun on the rocky descent!

This trail is easy to get to by riding 491 uphill, which is not too ascending. Going down Wolf's Branch is really fun. Lots of jumps and rocks at times, so be careful and watch your speed.

I only got to climb it, but I still loved this section of trail!
