Trail Description
About this trail
Many people have referred to bike parks as the future of mountain biking, and with parks such as Valmont it is easy to see why. Valmont offers something for almost every type of mountain biker, and the way the park is designed it allows those with no skills and those with tons to both have fun!

With about 4 miles of flowy cross country trails ringing the park and littered with practice features, it is a great place to go for an in-town mountain bike ride or to introduce newbies to the sport.

But the main feature is the jump lines. Specifically, Valmont has 2 different pump tracks, a dirt jump area with 5 different lines (XS, S, M, L, XL) a flowy rhythmic slopestyle area with 4 different main lines (S, M, L, XL) and an untold number of combinations between those lines, as well as a dual slalom race course.

Valmont is a great place to bring the family for a fun day at a bike-themed park. There is a “tot track” that is an easy spot for tots to push their bikes around, there’s also picnic tables and a snack machine nearby as well as playground equipment for when the tots get bored of the bikes.

There is plenty at Valmont to keep you entertained for the day—and for many days to come! Working on your skills on the various jumps and technical features could become a life-long journey as you work towards perfection.

Review: The Valmont Bike Park is loads of fun for everyone from the beginner to the extremo. It's the model for what a city bike park should be. But be realistic, if you're a mountain biker who likes to bike in the mountains, you'll soon get bored.

Review: Amazing bike park especially for the entrance fee (it is free to enter), they have fenominal jumps and it is always worth the trip. The first time I went I was riding for about an hour before I overshot a table top and went over the bars and f****d up my bike, there diy service station helped me fix it before leaving. I will always recommend this even to intermidiate riders as long as you have some experience.

Review: Wow. This was my first time going to a bike park. There was stuff for everyone. The trails were all pretty short which means you have to do laps but I think that is the idea. I loved the pump tracks that were beginner and intermediate. They had nice rollers to jump and some actual jumps too. Then there was the advance trails... They reminded me of what I would see bikers on red bull doing stunts at. Huge air with big gaps and step ups. All way over my skill level.
The workers and people there were all very friendly.
I will definitely go back!

Review: I'm definitely not a dirt jump guy, but it was fun to try once. The skills area is really nice and by the end of the day I was pretty decent at the pump track. Would prefer to spend my time trail riding though. Just personal preference.

Review: There's something for everyone here, whether you are a total newbie or an expert. It's a good mix of beginner and advanced areas, with so much in between. I was visiting a friend in Boulder and spent the day riding around town, and I am so glad that I stopped at Valmont to play around for a bit. I had a lot of fun practicing smaller jumps and drop-offs (something I struggle with) and working on perfecting other skills. There were some super fun flowy fast lines that were just a blast too! I spent a couple hours and I could have easily spent a few more. If I'm ever back in the area I'll definitely go back, and I think Valmont is a great model for bike parks everywhere.

Review: This park introduced me to the risk/reward of jumps. I had an amazing time here getting a taste of more advanced features. The people here are pretty friendly for the most part. My wife and daughter encountered a "regular" who thought he owned the place, but all of our other interactions were great.

This is the type of place that quite literally has something for everyone. All major cities should be investing in parks like this. Enough with the "Play 60" ads, campaigns to strip soda out of the schools, blah blah blah. You want fit, healthy, engaged kids? BUILD A BIKE PARK LIKE VALMONT!

Review: Valmont is a great place for all ages, skill and fitness levels. There are a few short trails to work on skills, or encourage younger riders. The park offers different terrain to work on different skills. It is close to Boulder centre and you can drop by after work, over lunch, or before, or after hitting any of the Boulder County trails. Great place!

Review: Great place to work on your skills. Want to get better at berms? There's a trail for that. Drops and jumps? They got it covered. Both pump tracks are super fun and have a lot of options for lines. The dual slalom trail is great too. This is a really fun place to spend time and get better at riding.
