Trail Description
About this trail
The Right Loop is by far my favorite Tsali trail. Start at the trailhed parking lot and follow the signs for the LEFT LOOP (that's right). After about 0.3 miles, turn right onto the gravel road. This is County Line Road. Follow this trail up, then down, to the start of the right loop. Follow the right loop to the intersection with the Windy Gap Overlook loop (about 6 or 7 miles in). Take this loop out to the overlook, keeping to the right at each trail intersection. Turn around and take the loop back to the right. Skip this loop to cut over 2 miles from the total. Continue on the right loop and end in the trail head parking lot. This loop is what Tsali is all about.

Review: Not a real "loop", haha. Right "Loop" brings you out, then Left "Loop" brings you back (or vice versa). Might want long sleaves/pants as leaves & branches reach into trail and will be slapping you for a lot of the ride. Nice trails. Scenic views are kinda few & far between. LOVED the outside shower and bike wash station!

Review: Challenging climbing and great views of Fontana Lake. Take a rope. If you slip off the trails, you won't die but you may have trouble getting back up. Some sections are modestly washed out however manageable. Really great ride and the other riders were friendly and helpful (encouraging). I only pulled one tick off at the end.

Review: Challenging climbs, but great views make it worth it. Downhill runs are fun. Needs jumps added to it. I'm more of a fan of the left loop.

Review: This trail meanders along the edge of the lake with great views and lots of climbing. The trail lacks good singletrack downhills and there is almost nothing technical. I enjoyed this trail.

Review: This trail is fast and fairly smooth with lots of turns. I rode here in November and besides some leaves the trail was in good shape. This trail isn't technical and doesn't have much in the way of climbing but still manages to be fun. It skirts an artificial lake so that's the view. I slept in my car and no one bothered me.

Review: Great Trails! A must do for any enthusiast! Several options within Tsali, Right Loop has more climbing and rocky areas. Never enough room to express how great this area is for mountain biking.

Review: this is one of my new favorite trails it is easy enough where almost any rider can do but fun enough where even the most experienced riders can go fast and have a great time. the bank turns on this trail are fun if go fast. when I went it was raining very hard the day before, earlier that day, and while i was riding it so you can imagine i smelled great afterwords. towards the end of the trail my dads derailer hanger broke off so we had to walk it back. with all the rain, the puddles were so muddy and murky you couldnt see the bottom so you were just guessing how deep they were and a few of the time they were very deep and I almost went over the handle bars. all in all amazing trail.

Review: One of my favorite trails to ride. Directional, which I love. About an hour to complete. Only open to bikers on certain days, no waiting for horses. No dabs, no major climbs, no dismounts and great scenery.
