Mountain Biking Tobacco River Memorial Trail

***   Add a review
#110 of 265 mountain bike trails in Montana
#7,830 in the world

This trail is an old train track. The tracks are gone, but the rise it ran along is still there. Benches and restrooms are along the trail with great views of the river, iron trellis bridge, and wildlife. The trail is easy going with only a couple of uphill and downhill parts to pedal harder on. The trail begins in Eureka and ends at Lake Koocanusa. About 7.5 miles each direction on this out-and-back historic and memorial trail.

This trail is for walking/running. If you want a trail ride, do not venture out on this flat, flat track. However, it is a good ride if you're looking for some flat riding.

Mostly double track along the Tobacco River. Old train track with lots of places to get off the trail and play. This trail takes you from Eureka to Lake Koocanusa. Bring your lunch and stop along the way to enjoy the views. Couple of restrooms along the way.
