Trail Description
About this trail
This loop starts from the parking lot and combines gray trail along Parks Pond, the Blue Trail, then some fire road and a killer hike-a-bike up to Mootry Peak Lookout which picks up the Yellow Trail. Loops back to blue on a killer downhill down to a crossing point between Tarrywile Lake and Back Pond, where it picks up the blue again for another killer hike-a-bike and then down to the water tower and eventually back through the hay field and parking lot.

Review: Been here hundreds of times. the best line i could recommend is to start at the parks main pond. go left of the blue trail. continue till you hit the green take that back to the blue down the steep section to the lower pond. go left past the yellow trail till you hit the shack. go right to the back pond and loop to the yellow trail on the backside of mootry peak. hike up to the beacon light and hit the down hill section on the left. when you get to the bottom you will hit the same section you did at the start. but instead of going right at the shack go straightleft and take that trail bare right to the blue and end on the blue/white at the main pond.

Review: Not really a mountain bike park. On one side, you have basically open fields to ride on, OK for beginners. Then there is tough "hike -a -bike" portions, that the downhill isn't even enough to make up for the slog. Trails are more conducive to horse riding (plenty of horse poop and hoof prints) . Probably great for trail running. Picturesque park, neat ponds/lakes. There is a dilapidated castle that is worth the trip though.
