The western segment of the Spring Creek Greenway Trail is a hilly, crushed limestone loop and linear trail and travels 5.01 miles through the woodland, savanna, and wetland of hadley valley.

The eastern segment of the trail is a hilly, crushed limestone loop and linear trail and travels 3.44 miles through the woodland and savanna of messenger marsh.

    This is NOT a single-track trail, but it is a nice 5 mile gravel loop through the pastures of new lenox. Trailhead has a pavilion, restrooms and water fountain. Good place to get in some miles, mostly flat with a few gentle hills.
