Mountain Biking Snow Canyon State Park

**   Add a review
#353 of 693 mountain bike trails in Utah
#10,166 in the world

Surrounded by Navajo sandstone, capped by an overlay of black lava rock, makes photography, hiking, biking and camping in Snow Canyon a double treat. Early spring and fall use of the park is especially appealing due to southern Utahs moderate winter climate. Two recent volcanic cones are found near the head of the canyon. This strikingly colorful canyon is 11 miles northwest of St. George.

Mountain bikes are only allowed on the greenway through the park and the utility road up into a box canyon. Both are very scenic and enjoyable but you must go outside the park's south entrance to get any singletrack. The signage outside is sketchy and its hard to string together a good ride.
