Mountain Biking Skywalker

#113 of 422 mountain bike trails in Arizona
#3442 in the world

"[Skywalker] connects the Herkenham and Old Post trails where the latter starts at the Red Rock High School," said Kevin Adams of the Verde Valley Cyclists Coalition. "Skywalker is an intermediate ride with a few exposed sections and one sharp turn that I have yet to figure out."

"No matter which way you take Skywalker, you're initially climbing, but the 360-degree panoramic views at the top are breathtaking and worth the exertion to get there (and then you get the descent)," Adams continued. "Skywalker, and all the trails in the Carroll Canyon area south of 89A in central Sedona, are the first we ride after a rain as they tend [to] shed water and dry much faster than our other trails."
