Review: Hellish uphill if you decide to park at 7 mile gulch and go up. Pretty decent ride down if you park at the top of spruce mountain with a recovery vehicle at lynx lake or 7 mile gulch. You have to share this trail with motorbikes and quads, mostly smooth hardpack with a couple of rock scramble sections; the forest service has installed humps on the trail to route rain water. These humps make nice little bicycle ramps.
