Mountain Biking Richards Hollow
#414 of 711 mountain bike trails in Utah
Richards Hollow is a natural singletrack winding down a secluded hollow in the Bear River Mountain range. The trails flows through open meadows, quaking aspens, and pines. The trail crosses the creek several times, so be prepared to get wet/muddy. Going up, the trail is quite steep, with some very technical climbs. Coming down is fairly fast, with several technical descents, and rocky creek crossings. Not the greatest for beginners in either direction. Shuttling the trail is possible, the road to the top is not well cared for so a higher clearance vehicle is best. Deer, skunks, and cows are frequent along the trail. The trail is also open to motorcycles so watch out for them, and close gates behind you.
