Mountain Biking Needles
#120 of 711 mountain bike trails in Utah
2004 is Snowbasin's official "kick off" year for summer activities, and they have done an outstanding job building, marking and maintaining their network of trails! The trails are all very clearly marked (a map is available at the resort). Most of the trails are littered with small rocks that make for a bone jarring ride....thank God for full suspension! Watch for moose on these trails, a large bull is know to inhabit the lower regions! About the only drawback, is the crowds of newbie bikers, on the weekends, that ride the gondola up and coast down........remember, "Lifts are for wimps!!".
