Mountain Biking Mule Trail

Super nice singletrack in mixed conifer forest. From Mount Herman Road, the trail basically runs 3.2 miles north until it connects with Limbaugh Canyon Trail. The trail begins with a moderate one mile climb (560' ascent) following a small drainage to a ridge top. It is difficult in spots, but mostly doable. You will know you have reached the top when you see a tall teepee like structure made of dead branches. Once you reach the top, you have done the hard work. From here, it's all fun as the trail runs north on the ridge top. It follows the ridge for another mile and is quite flowy with mostly a slight downgrade. Finally, the trail turns downhill in earnest for the last mile. There are some fun switchbacks and a few technical spots, especially as the trail nears Limbaugh Canyon Trail.
