Mountain Biking Inner Basin
#64 of 70 mountain bike trails in Mongolia
This is a very nice 3.33 mile (5.4 km) downhill run that ends up flying through a beautiful valley nestled in the middle of the trail system. To ride it downhill, you run it from the Upper Traverse Trail to the East Valley Trail. It descends about 1300' in 3.3 miles. That's an average grade of ~7.5% and about 390' of descent per mile. Very nice. The downhill actually begins about 1/4 mile before the Inner Basin trail begin, and it continues another mile plus on East Valley trail. So the total dh ends up being over 4.5 miles -- all on a very nice fast grade.

Pick up the top of the trail off of Upper Traverse Trail a little more than a mile down (SE) from the top of Wild Horses. It's easy to blow right by the entrance of the trail because you are on a nice fast ~10% dh run.
